End of the Gymnastics Season – State and Regional Competitions
The Level 6 boy’s gymnastics team had a very good competitive season this year. In general, the team participated in 6 Meets during this season, in which they were champions in Youngstown, 3rd in Cincinnati, 3rd at the Blaine Wilson in Columbus, 4th at the Arnold in Columbus and 4th at State meet in Columbus.
In the State meet, celebrated at the end of March, four of our gymnasts were able to classify to compete at the Regional competition that took place this past April 15, 2011 in Columbus. The Region 5 gathers the best gymnasts of 5 states: Ohio, Illinois, Kentucky, Indiana and Michigan.

Congratulations to all of our team, Dima, Jacob, Michel, Victor, Raphael, Cassiel, Brett and Geremy for their effort at the competitions as well as at the gym. Gymnastics is a very demanding sport which required consistency, discipline and many, many hours of training a week.
Also, I would like to congratulate to Michel, Brett, Victor and Geremy for classifying to the Regional and a special congratulations to Michel for obtaining first place all-around at state championship and the third place at the Regional championship.
